Dan Pearce - Australian Wildfires Fundraiser

Dan hit me up about a week before we met up, he told me about his plans to create a piece of art from scratch, and put it up for auction with all of the proceeds going to the relief efforts fighting the Australian Wildfire Crisis. I always enjoy working with Dan, and I love Australia. Dan loves Australia too, so it was a plan.

Since I last saw him for the “The Neon Collection” a few months back, Dan’s moved into a new, bigger studio. He was still in the process of moving in when I rocked up to shoot, but the lighting definitely pushed things to the next level, as well as there being a lot more room to move around in.

Dan wanted to get the piece up for auction the following Monday - we shot it on Friday - which wasn’t the tightest deadline in the world, but I was unsure how much I’d shot.

3 hours of footage. I was admittedly a little more liberal with my shooting this time around, especially with the slow-mo stuff, which was probably what caused the majority of extra footage. Totally worth it though.

I know I’ve been lax with this blogging stuff lately, I’m working on it. But if the video, the photos, Dan’s work, or even my words have inspired you to donate, check out Dan’s GoFundMe page below for a chance to win the piece. It’s all for a good cause.
